How Jesus Interpreted Scripture

In this talk Richard Rohr introduces what he calls the Jesus Hermeneutic, which is the scholarship of determining how Jesus himself interpreted the scriptures. He argues that Jesus did not treat all of scripture as equally vital to his own message; rather, he used only verses that point to “where the text is heading”: inclusivity, mercy, and justice.
